Let's get down to the real reason you'd like to work for ARCNET, it's the car, isn't it? No problem, we understand. Even though this is a great place to work with fabulous benefits and great people, the car is a good reason those of us who work here don't have our resumes in circulation. How many of us are ever going to drive this car working for any one else? The car goes above and beyond anything any employer will ever do for us. We know it and appreciate it.
Seriously, let's get down to the details about the car. It's the BMW 3 series, either the 318 or 323, and we do our best to get it in the color and style you choose. You know this car is a nice ride. Six airbags, fast, comfortable, stylish, safe, and, it's the "Ultimate Driving Machine". What more could you want?
Here's what Al pays for:
The Lease for three years, then you have to give it back and get a new one.
The Insurance. Your record has to be acceptable.
The basic maintenance contract. This includes a free loaner BMW during maintenance and repairs.
FICA taxes. We don't know what this means either, but trust us, its good.
Here's what you pay for, (and don't complain, you're driving a BMW remember):
Fluids.
Gas.
The damage deductible. and extra maintenance.
Taxes on the income value of the car and insurance. This should be about $200 a month. A lot less than most car payments, let alone the payment on a BMW with insurance.
